ALICIA THOMPSON.
CW: mention of child death.Alicia Thompson is a trauma surgeon who graduated top of her class with a M.D at the University of Sydney. Not long after graduating, she decided to join the Australian Army to follow her fathers footsteps, working there as a staff surgeon. It was while deployed that she met her ex husband, Tyler Rake.After settling down with her then husband Tyler, Alicia decides to leave the Army to practice at a hospital in town, having experienced and seen more than enough during her time deployed. Not too long after getting married, they welcome their son. Her relationship with Tyler was more than well upon they find out that their son has lymphoma, and Tyler's way of dealing with it is accepting to go to a tour while his son still fights his illness. He dies when Tyler is deployed, and when he's back to help Alicia deal with the aftermath, tension arises and the marriage comes to an end.Alicia while dealing with her entire life falling apart, decides last minute to give her career a chance and packs up her things to go to the US, working at a hospital in Seattle for a few years. She does nothing else but work during all that time, avoiding any chance to be thinking about her past and what could have been of her life hadn't all these disasters happened to her. Still, she doesn't find her peace in the States and once again, packs everything she has and comes back to Australia upon given the chance to work as the Head of Trauma.

(I stopped watching the show back in season 8/9 but considering the amount of characters from it following me on my main blog, she gets a verse there and I am open to learning things from the other seasons).

Instead of taking it upon herself to leave like on her main verse, in this one Alicia is contacted by S.H.I.E.L.D, her talent and the amount of lives she has saved that no one else believed could be possible was enough to catch the eyes of the people there. Her expertise will be very useful in the treatment of S.H.I.E.L.D agents and even the superheroes after dangerous missions.
